When I said well worn I didn't mean worn out--I should have been more specific. The actions were okay. But externally they had little finish remaining. They certainly were fine for making into something nice, thus my reason for kicking myself.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Did you buy the one customized? Mine were both stock. They were both well worn. No, I took the best of the 2 and had the work done by a 'smith in Stockton CA. IIRC, trigger job, better sights and a beaver tail grip safety. I left the other one stock. Neither one was "well worn" -- mechanically, they were good, and the best one had better finish remaining than the other one. Harvey |
