My family and I would appreciate it if you all could spread the word, maybe by printing off the files Mark attached and giving them to friends and family. This is a huge request to make of strangers but somewhere out there is the person whose age, physical condition and sense of altruism will make them a perfect candidate. For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The following is a message from Stu: Will Qualls is my oldest grandson. We've known all his life that he would eventually need a partial liver transplant and the time has now come. Because of his unique circumstance - he was operated on to make a new bile duct while still an infant and his "plumbing" is now rather unique - a live donor is preferable to a cadaver donor. I know this is primarily a geriatric forum and few if any of us qualify, but if you have younger, fit family or friends that could make such a donation, please let them know about Will's need. Mark has kindly attached a couple of files to this note with more information with links and QR codes to find out even more or to apply. Please let more people know about Will's need! Thanks, Stu |
