Will Qualls is my oldest grandson. We've known all his life that he would eventually need a partial liver transplant and the time has now come. Because of his unique circumstance - he was operated on to make a new bile duct while still an infant and his "plumbing" is now rather unique - a live donor is preferable to a cadaver donor.

I know this is primarily a geriatric forum and few if any of us qualify, but if you have younger, fit family or friends that could make such a donation, please let them know about Will's need.
