Have not shot the slugs. Recoil was noticeably less, leading me to think down range performance would also suffer. I believe the choke was mod or full. I have Rem-choke tubes so not positive. It was years ago that I shot them.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: What's the choke in your eightseventy?  I need to try them.  Did you try any slugs?  I have some of those, too.  How was recoil?
