One of the guys in the militia unit has a binary trigger on an AR, not sure of the brand. It has 3 positions, safe, semi and binary. In semi it is surprisingly good for an AR trigger, in binary it does what it’s supposed to. I actually think it’s more useful than 3 rnd burst on a M16. That said, I think the best idea is proper training and semi-auto only. On a 10-22 that’s never going to be used for defense, it’s pretty pointless unless your real hobby is buying ammunition. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: What is the purpose of a binary trigger? Franklin Armory has one for the Ruger 10-22. You fire one round with the trigger pull and a second round with the trigger release. I don't see the point. |
