I have learned that sometimes VPNs seem like more trouble than they're worth.   I find myself mentally estimating the risk of various web sites versus turning the VPN on or leaving it off.  Probably not too bright on my part, but I use other security software as well, so .

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: VPNs can cause some strange things.
