A Norwegian M1894 I presume, as they were the only ones to use that cartridge.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I like 6.5mm cartridges--but I "discovered" the 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser cartridge over 40 years ago, and realized what a great cartridge it is. The Swedes used it for their version of NRA-type target shooting, and they hunt with it up to MOOSE. I can attest to that.  A friend shot a moose in Canada with his 6.5x55 Krag; I had some of the meat - it was delicious!  Stu
