Despite my admitted disdain for most of Rich Grassis's columns, this one is good.  I agree with his points here, and think everyone should read it, especially younger shooters brought up with pistols having forward grasping grooves on their slides.   I've long said those simply encourage accidents.  (Yes, of course, the biggest problems always lie between the ears. )  Read the article and you'll see my point of view: When Rule 2 Bites — Watch Your Hand
