I still feel that way! I prefer pistols to revolvers in general for self defense and the only advantage I can see that revolver having is a minor edge in weight.

I don't have any reason to choose any Commander-sized .45ACP revolver over a semi-auto Commander. And, I'd be surprised if that revolver weighed enough less than my aluminum Commander framed carry gun (both fully loaded) to make any difference. I'd expect the weight difference to be mostly from the two extra rounds in the semi-auto pistol.
