Thanks, Jerry. How does that red front sight work for you in different lighting conditions? I wasn't happy with the original equipment red front insert on my 4" 686 but maybe a recessed dot won't be as troublesome as an exposed ramp.

I have come to the conclusion that I cannot recommend sights. Everyone's eyes and preferences are different, so IMO saying XXXX sights are best is a waste of time. Worse, as most of us are finding out, what works for me may not even work for ME as my eyes age -- and that is most aggravating.
