I went back and magnified the photo to 400%.  It looks like the safety would be off if it was in the down position.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Yikes!   I don't know that pistol so I hadn't realized the safety was off! Is the Safe position higher, like on a 1911,  or lower, like some other semi-autos (older S&Ws?)? Stu
