No doubt about it, Jerry. There have been few radical modern designs that didn't piggyback on some previous design features. I might take some flak for saying this, but I think Glock comes closest to being a radical modern designed pistol. Just my 2 cents. Harvey

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I reckon most modern firearms are an amalgam of the better features of previous designs, improved for the next generation.
