For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: did you ever send this off to Don Williams? Nope. I decided after thinking about it that I will leave it stock. I waited for Colt to accept it for a refinish for over a year and then just said I'm happy with it as is. When was this made? did you ever order a Colt letter for it? It was made in 1970 per Colt, but the original seller told me he bought it in late 1969. No Colt letter. Harvey |
