And now the prices have really started to rise. I found one at a recent OGCA show and it actually surprised me with the price--up close to a grand. I think this was an anomaly but I could be wrong. They've hovered in the $750 range for some time.

One of these has long been on my long list of wants (for perhaps 30 years), but when found I'm always looking for something else more, or I've temporarily depleted the hobby fund, or... They've hovered in the $750 range for some time. The M28 was my first .357 Magnum albeit with a 6" barrel, and I've always liked the 4" barrel version. I bought mine new in '79 I think, and sold it in the early 80s because I new a 4" gun was going to be more practical for police work--I'd already purchased my 4" Security-six for that. At the time, having both seemed to tie up too much of the budget. |
