| You remember correctly. The blue finish was a dull, rust blue type finish compared to fancier Model 27, and service stocks were standard. A Model 28 was my first .357 Magnum. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Bought one new in the box in the late 60's if I remember correctly, a 4" but the finish was not a polished blue and the grips were smaller?
