I got lucky with the Gen 1 Glock. It was on sale for $450 at the shop I used to teach for. I grabbed it. For some reason, when this was taken in, they didn't do anything like inform the owner he had a valuable piece. Once I confirmed it was Gen 1, I grabbed it. The next cheapest one I have found is at OGCA where they wanted $700 and I considered it. They retail around here for $1200. Which is absolutely staggering. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Everyone says Gen1 Glocks are collectible these days and quite expensive... The only Glock I still have is a Gen 2. While I've never handled a Gen 5, I like the Gen 2 best of those I've handled. |
