For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: And just how, pray tell, are they in evidence if the only evidence is a well-centered group on a target which likely was shot at a single distance with no wind and by a gun writer with the reputation (deserved or not) of being an excellent shot? It doesn't! You're arguing apples and oranges, Allan! Actually, it does exactly what I said. It tells me that the writer really can adjust his sights and that on the day he shot those photos he was able to compensate correctly for bullet drop and drift at the range used and for the wind conditions present... Otherwise, the group would be centered somewhere else. |
