My Yugo also had problems with the Wolf Ammo. Shot brass cased ammo just fine. Turns out, it's a weakness in the Yugo SKS gas system. Apparently, the brass expands enough to seal it, while the steel does not. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I'd be interested in knowing the results. I suspect that they will be very similar in performance. The only reason that I handload 7.62x39 is that a few years ago, 7.62x39 dried up for about a year. It worked out well as my Yugo SKS doesn't like the steel cased Russian ammo. I built up a good supply of brass and load only for that rifle. My Chinese and Romanian Sks's work fine with Wolf amm. Dave |
