For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Yeah.  I think Jerry originally fed the desire for the Smith 3913, for example, and it turned into a buying frenzy--it seems everyone had to have one there for a while.  These days TJ mostly pushes that pistol.  I am one of the few daily members not to have ever bought one, though it wasn't for lack of great respect for that pistol.  It just never happened, bumper sticker philosophy notwithstanding.
