Well, if I had my druthers with it, I'd prefer 7x57 or 8x56, as I have 6.5x54 and 9x56
However, this was such a gorgeous rifle, with metal engraving all over, that caliber was a 3rd, and minor negative. Biggest problem was someone snatched it up as soon as it came on sale. HGW |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Wowie! That is really unique and really nice.  The only thing I myself would prefer to make it perfect would be if it were in a European metric caliber instead of the oh-so-American .270 Winchester.
