Of those 3 pistols, I prefer the P225, although I did like the Walther P5 and P5C, but they were very expensive compared to the P225. And the P7 was also very pricey. (The P225 was no Hi-Point either, but less expensive than the other 2.) But I have to agree with you that it is the only one to consider today -- after all, I still carry mine. Harvey |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: (Thanks for the correction--people who know this forum know I can't type to save my soul!) Walthers will always have collecting followers, and the (H&K) P7 was unique enough to be collectible, but as a tactical/practical pistol, the SIG P6/P225 is the only one I would ever consider today. I don't think I'm alone in that. |
