If I had one of those collections where I thought nothing of owning several hundred handguns, to the extent that I could have representative samples of everything I found interesting, I would of course have a P225, and I'd still have a P220 as well--two I'm sure as I'd need a .45 and a .38 Super, heck and a 9mm! Not really getting to the point where I could buy what I want, reasonably, and still have a family life, until later in life, many interesting guns were traded off or sold that today I might like back. Oh, honestly a lot of them in the last 10 even 15 years weren't disposed of because I needed to in order to acquire something else, it was because I generally lost interest in the gun. I didn't realize I'd acquire the attitude where I'd not mind having guns I don't really shoot or particularly love but would still enjoying owning. Who knew? | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: You're welcome, Mr. Fat Fingers! Of those 3 pistols, I prefer the P225, although I did like the Walther P5 and P5C, but they were very expensive compared to the P225. And the P7 was also very pricey. (The P225 was no Hi-Point either, but less expensive than the other 2.) But I have to agree with you that it is the only one to consider today -- after all, I still carry mine. Harvey |
