I'd still have a P220 as well--two I'm sure as I'd need a .45 and a .38 Super, heck and a 9mm!
I really liked the .38 Super 220s that I had over the years, and there were times I thought I had made a mistake selling them rather than keeping them. But retirement called. . . . Not boasting, but I don't know if I ever told you of the Sigs I sold at that time. There were 5 P210s, 2 P220s in .38 Super, 1 P220 on .45, a nickel P226, a P229 in .40, and a P230. I kept the P225 and P228. That was a chunk of money added to the rest of the guns I sold at the time. Harvey |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: If I had one of those collections where I thought nothing of owning several hundred handguns, to the extent that I could have representative samples of everything I found interesting, I would of course have a P225, and I'd still have a P220 as well--two I'm sure as I'd need a .45 and a .38 Super, heck and a 9mm! Not really getting to the point where I could buy what I want, reasonably, and still have a family life, until later in life, many interesting guns were traded off or sold that today I might like back. Oh, honestly a lot of them in the last 10 even 15 years weren't disposed of because I needed to in order to acquire something else, it was because I generally lost interest in the gun. I didn't realize I'd acquire the attitude where I'd not mind having guns I don't really shoot or particularly love but would still enjoying owning. Who knew? |
