For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Legal consequences for a fistfight aren’t going to rise to the level of a shooting so I’m not very concerned about that. As long as you can articulate that you felt threatened and why you took the actions you did, I don’t see it being a major problem. Keep in mind, I’m not advocating you punch every punk that looks at you cross eyed. This is just for those occasions when you are confronted by a real threat and you know things are going down hill. If you are 99% sure there is going to be a fight that you can’t avoid and you wait for the other guy to strike first, you have a 99% chance of losing. |
