I believe I would snap up a Merwin & Hulbert for anything like a good price--even though I don't collect 19th Century guns.  Some models have very advanced features.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I have always wanted a Velo Dog. This one, even in such poor condition, popped up when I found it at a show this weekend.  Merwin and Hulbert are also incredible revolvers. I got to handle one last month at the VGCA show. Who needs CNC... very tight fitting parts.
