| We had a similar situation but difference reasons. My wife was still active duty and got sent here to Ohio. As it turned out, it was a good thing because while CA, where we moved from, had better weather, everything ele sucked and continued to suck worse every decade. Neither of us regret the move. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I was answering your question "Do you miss it?" posted to the photo, probably years ago. My wife (the reason we moved) actually liked it better there than here except for the winters. All the snow and ice and cold temps were the deal breaker for her. I was getting to where I wasn't fond of it myself but I still planned to live in that old cabin until I died. |
