I guess every part of our body that resists the recoil has some effect here, Harvey, and the shape of the gun as well, but I think the primary effect is what I broke down in my note to Robert.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I slept thru Physics as well 
Methinks that the angle of the grip and the hinge of our shoulder has a lot to do about the upwards recoil. I may try shooting a few pistols horizontally to see what happens. HGW |
