I watched the NJ State Junior Bullseye (now called Precision Pistol) team on Shooting USA recently. They won the national championhip at Camp Perry, so they can shoot. I specifically noted that they used about a 15 degree inward angle when shooting. Just tought I'd pile on to what you said. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Yeah, I wonder if that's TV imitating life or TV imitating life imitating TV? Shooting one-handed, there's some advantage to tilting the gun slightly, about fifteen degrees. It has to do with the normal configuration of the bones in the wrist and better strength. That full ninety degree tilt is just showboat silliness, though... Stu |
