I have for decades always had a Boy Scout attitude when it comes to long guns--Be Prepared. I truly believe I'll probably pass on without ever having needed those guns or ammo, but it makes me feel good to have them. I too think the intermediates are more useful for a city dweller but ya jess never know. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I also love that it is chambered for a real rifle cartridge. There is that, too. There are times that I think I need another long gun chambered in a substantial caliber, but that thought passes quickly. I just don't shoot the long guns I have now to warrant a buy. IIRC, all of my long guns are chambered in "intermediate" cartridges, so I guess I'll "don't worry, be happy" with that. Harvey |
