I actually owned the .40 before the third gen 9mms I own and have owned....

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I can believe that. The Plastic .40s I have had all shot inferior to Herb's P229 that I recall shooting. I've just never pursued a .40 S&W third gen pistol before.
