Yeah, pretty but not practical - the story of my life! 
I did know one cop who carried an N-frame off-duty, a .44 Magnum. He was a Detroit tactical officer and a nice guy who was killed in a drug house ambush. I used to kid him about working in Detroit affecting his choice of carry guns. Stu |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I used to really like those. I recall when they came out. I wanted one but couldn't afford one at the time (mid-80s). I was a hard core .44 Special fan at the time. In all seriousness they really weren't that practical, being a large N-frame. Even with a short barrel they were still belt guns requiring a holster, probably an OWB, eh? |
