I bought one just to see what it was all about, and found out it was all about nothing! I had owned several "Browning BDAs"(Sig P220), and thought maybe, just maybe, the BDM would be just as good as those, albeit different in system. I also knew than FN was working on a double action version of the BHP, and thought this might have been something like that. Ooops!
At any rate, I didn't keep mine very long, and thought that carrying a screwdriver to change modes was silly. Harvey |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I remember when we had these in the store I worked in here in Ohio in the early 90s. I have a memory of finding it somewhat confusing. Not so much to us but to explain it to a customer. I don't recall ever selling one, though we may have. It was really a bit of a complicated approach to a simple concept that might have been better served by two pistols (TDA and DAO), as most companies did. Today I'd thrill to own one of course.
