Yes indeed.  Making it lever-actuated or something may have had some merit, eh?

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I bought one just to see what it was all about, and found out it was all about nothing! I had owned several "Browning BDAs"(Sig P220), and thought maybe, just maybe, the BDM would be just as good as those, albeit different in system. I also knew than FN was working on a double action version of the BHP, and thought this might have been something like that. Ooops! At any rate, I didn't keep mine very long, and thought that carrying a screwdriver to change modes was silly. Harvey
