I noticed the position of the cross bolt. Are they trying to keep the wrist from cracking under recoil stress? I've never seen that before. I agree on all your recommendations, and I like the American version much better. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Mark, I think that is the LUX version and is very popular in the 22lr series of rifles. That butt stock will work with a 22lr but not with the 375H&H. That much drop at heel is awful on a heavy recoiling rifle. They also dropped the cross bolt behind the recoil lug. Nice dovetails on the receiver for scope. Front swing swivel should be on the barrel. Cut three inches off the barrel and add a barrel band front sight. They do make an American model that has a much better designed stock. You can see it HERE. Can't believe they don't have a metal grip cap. Frank |
