For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I also mentioned I didn't like the barrel shroud, which I'm sure you read. It took me a while to get used to the grips, but this revolver has been out for many years and I've gotten used to seeing them. They are also available same shape normal colors, sold as the Jerry Miculek Grip by Hogue (below), so that's not a big deal to me. You knew ALL S&W revolvers now come in round butt configuration, right? But everyone makes "square butt" shaped grips so you can have that feel if you want it.
