Thanks! I'm not familiar with Waterlox. Does it work like the usual stock finish where I sand it back repeatedly as the pores fill, and eventually can final finish? Or is this something unique. I know--look it up on the web--I'll do that!

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Mark, I don't know. That is a stock that I put in for an example of some kind. I don't remember. I didn't finish that stock. It may have been an example of the old Winchester reddish stock finish. If you want a finish that looks like that use Waterlox to fill the pores and finish with Pilkington finishing oil. Frank |
