They kinda sorta did with the short-lived compact version of the P220. What was the model number? P245 I believe? Very short-lived, and then replaced with today's P220 Compacts. I don't know how the P220 Compacts vary from the P245. And frankly I don't know how they or the P245 vary from your vision of the P225 in .45ACP.
All this P220 talk is really making me miss my P220, easily the favorite of my few SIGs. But nostalgia aside, a man moves on. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Those were the days. Yeppers. And I hauled all of those Sigs and a lot more to St. Louis when I moved back here. Many were sold at my friend's store and gun shows, and it was fun selling them. I don't know if you remember, but I talked about Sig doing the right thing and producing a .45acp version of the P225.
