I think you're right.  I hope they are never discontinued because I actually use them a LOT.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Those single-edge razor blades can be very handy and I can't remember the last time I actually saw a razor that used them.  Double-edge blades, sure, but single-edge replaceable blades for shaving went out about the time they introduced throw-away plastic razors, I think.  If it wasn't for use in paint scrapers, I think the single-edge blades would be totally gone.
