It's a decent price...it looks i good cond
This one sold for $2250 from Gunsamerica. It probably sold within a few hours Much more engraving, carved butt stock (this Philistine liked it). The only "minus"' was that the elaborately engraved trigger guard had the owner's initials tastefully scroll engraved initials on it. Pity that I didn't have a chance at it. For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I don't keep track of the selling prices of these rifles, but maybe Harvey Wilson will chime in here with an answer. He owns several of them and keeps track of them on the Internet. These are beautiful rifles and this was just one of the many neat guns I saw come through my favorite gun shop in Helena, Montana. The action on this rifle was so smooth and precise you could operate the butter knife bolt with one finger. |
