For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: No, I don't. Like many here, I have several different cleaning products, Hoppe's #9 to Sweets. I mainly use it as a protector, and it serves me well. My M-27 almost looks NIB, amd the M-52, which has seen heavy use in it's 56 year lifetime, has no rust or pitting anywhere. I've been known to put CLP on an Otis pull thru at the range, but will use proper stuff when I get home, then run another patch of CLP thru the bore and on the surfaces. HGW |
