One of the first acquisitions in my WWII Axis firearms collection was a Nazi marked BHP, along with the military issue holster that came with it. IIRC, I bought it in 1962. Strangely, I still have that holster, but the pistol is long gone.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I've owned two FN/Browning. Both Mk.III types. The one I regret selling was the .40S&W. FN was the first company to do more than rebarrel and respring their 9mm models back in the 90s. They truly beefed up the frame and slide and added a third barrel locking lug. It was a fine pistol.
