Yeah Sharps makes it but that is it. Essentially a .223 case necked up to .25 caliber with an 87 grain bullet. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I recall Dale Mullin was a big fan of the .25-45 Sharps. I think the somewhat anachronistic-sounding name, which of course meant nothing in real life but in marketing can mean everything didn't help. Modern shooters, and AR guys tend to be more cutting edge than Elmer-esque, want names like "Blackout" not "Sharps." Ballistics only matter as far as a gun writer can make them sound like they matter on the printed or digital page to far too many people. Can you still find ammo for the .25-45? |
