Back when they were legal here, I heard gunsmiths say the were great base guns to customize; metallurgy and dimensions were within mil-specs. Those early ones were brutally simple clones of the 1911A1 but they were solid!
Of course, being made in China would give me pause but what can you buy that isn't made there these days! Stu (who misses Mike, too) |
