No, never had a problem. As far as my father's collection I never understood why he had so many all over the house and office (he was a veterinarian), in the house there was always a BIG German Shepard with a serious attitude problem and out in the kennels there was "Jack" as in Jack the Bear, he was 742 pounds, my father got him as a cub and had him 14 years.
If you wanted to rob my father you had your choice of poison, Jack or the Shepard from hell, nobody EVER tried either option Maybe my father collected them when they were dropped by desperadoes who messed themselves when they came face to face with Jack????? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Granted it was a long time ago, but in the first holdup in my dad's store I used a Smith & Wesson top break revolver in .38S&W. I pulled the trigger twice and it went bang bang both times. I never lacked trust in that revolver or any other top break revolver that had been taken care of. Have you had any issues with a top break that caused you to not trust them? Harvey |
