Agree completely.  Another carry FAD is appendix carry.  Being fond of the organs between my legs and the organs residing above them, I wouldn't appendix carry for any reason.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I agree.  Both for added security and for speed of access, on-body carry wins.  Off-body carry may be necessary in certain special situations but should always be secondary to standard - likely strong-side hip - carry!
