For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I found one for about $500 with a really beat finish. If it's sound mechanically . . . Maybe if you just want a shooter. But I'd keep looking for something better if you want that. I never knew Browning even had a factory in Utah. I thought they were like Springfield, farming out most "Browning" production that wasn't provided by FN. They did farm out many of their products or had them made by FN, but I think they might still make the Buckmark, and perhaps even the 1911 types in Utah. What surprised me was that they had a superb designer in-house who did the entire BDM project. Harvey |
