I have it but don't shoot it. It has a 4x-12x Nikon scope now that I've yet to zero. Just don't do much rifle shooting these days other than occasional milsurp shooting. Need to take that one out sometime. You're right it is large. I don't know if I'd call it chunky, but it has to be big enough to handle the 7.62x54R cartridge.
