Yeah, but I didn't call it "chunky", bur "clunky". It has that Russian made-from-used-tractor-parts look to it. 
Crazily, the only guns I've shot at all recently are my M1 rifle and my M4 carbine. Kinda strange for this handgunner to be going to the long gun side of the range but that's what my daughter and grandson wanted. Stu |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I have it but don't shoot it. It has a 4x-12x Nikon scope now that I've yet to zero. Just don't do much rifle shooting these days other than occasional milsurp shooting. Need to take that one out sometime. You're right it is large. I don't know if I'd call it chunky, but it has to be big enough to handle the 7.62x54R cartridge.
