Our departed and much missed friend Mike Davies used to say "the Colt Peacemaker won the West, but the Webley won the Rest". While not as attractive, perhaps, the Webleys, Nagants, etc. were heavily involved in winning wars over many decades.
I also think their cartridges are weak/substandard to boot! How much power does a cartridge need to be fatal? Harvey |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but for some reason I'm of the opinion that we are the ONLY country to ever make great looking and working revolvers. I just happen to think the various English, French, Italian, Russian, etc., etc. are plain ugly! I also think their cartridges are weak/substandard to boot!
