Poachers have done okay with a .22 rifle, too, but I wonder how many deer got wounded and ran off, maybe to heal or maybe to die of sepsis, compared to the ones that got harvested.
That is throwing a worst case scenario into a discussion when you have a world full of handgun hunters and archers who shouldn't be lumped together with your worst case scenario. Surely you can do better than yet, Mr. Debater, sir. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: So is archery hunting – I didn't do either. With enough expertise and restraint, either will take down a deer but you do have to be good.
